These condiments and ingredients are kitchen must haves at all times (from left to right): Sriracha Vietnamese hot chili sauce, Sambal chili paste, La Bo De soy sauce, Three Crabs Brand fish sauce, Panda Brand Oyster sauce, and Hoisin sauce. Quality of the ingredients does make a difference - reason why I'm particular with the brands.

I miss Mardi Gras. I found this at Krogers last week. Next year I'll be on a hunt for a better King Cake, one that comes a little closer to the ones I ate during my early elementary days in Louisiana!

One of my favorite drinks. Sweet, sour, cool, and refreshing. The first and best I ever tasted was from Cancun. I think the difference was in the sugar used...but whatever it was...other mojitos just aren't as good.

from Kona Grill. I've tried flavored ones too, but the classic seems to taste best.
