Chicken Dip w/ Stacy's Pita Chips

My brother got me hooked on Stacy's pita chips a few years ago. I'd see him eat it with tuna dip and tried it once - Loved it.

All the flavors I've tried, I've liked. My favorite, however, has to be the Simply Nake. I picked up a bag of the Parmesan Garlic & Herb at the grocery store yesterday, so that's what I'm using here. If you can, get the big bags at Costco or Sam Club's (Buy More, Pay Less).

Main Ingredients: mayonnaise (I'm using Kewpie), pita chips, and canned chicken

In a bowl, mix together the drained chicken, black pepper, scallions, and mayo. Yes. I like to keep it simple! Trying not to steer too much from how my brother made his tuna dip. Refrigerate before snacking.

Serve with the pita chips!

Choco Pie!

As seen in Korean Dramas, most especially: Thank You. I was excited to try this when Phuong bought some since I've seen it so many times in kdrama series. It tastes a lot like Moon Pies.

Good news: It's been MONTHS since I've last watch any series! Viet-dubbed rentals...fanfics...streaming subbed/raw (desperate) videos - Done with it.

Watermelon with Chili Pepper Salt / Dua Hau Cham Muoi Ot

Cold, crisp watermelon tastes good all on it's own and I never thought about eating it any other way until a few years ago. I saw an Aunt eat watermelon with chili peppers and salt and thought "why would someone ruin a good piece of watermelon with salt and pepper?!?!". I tried it myself and it didn't taste too bad. Pretty good actually. The salt made the watermelon sweeter and the chili gave it a little kick. I guess it was one of those Savory Sweet affects again (always a fan of the flavor combo).

Cut up a chili pepper.

Add salt

With a pestle, smash the chili and salt together into a paste

Dip watermelon in the chili salt and enjoy!

Li Hing Mui Gummy Candy

I think it was Big Brother Cuong who introduced Li Hing Mui powder with gummy candy to me. I was hooked. It's been a while since I've had them though.

Thanks Thuong and Hau for the stash! I've been craving.

Assorted gummy candy in a plastic bag. (Worms and Bears)

Add a little Li Hing Powder and shake.

Makes a great snack. Tastes even better when you let it sit overnight.

And Thanks for the Chocolates!

Girl Scout Cookies are here!

Last month, I put in an order for some girl scouts cookie through a coworker and it finally came in on Friday. I wait for these every year since finding out about them in the 9th grade.

My favorites: Thin Mints and Samoas!

Couldn't help but open a box at work (reason for the missing cookies in the first row) hehe

New PL! I'm trying to recreate a vietnamese music list I worked so hard building up on Imeem. When Imeem was bought by Myspace, I lost access to all my playlists. Myspace tried to recover it, but failed. So very disappointed and sad I was.

I didn't do a good job of keeping the music files, so I've spend that last few days trying to organize what songs I had and obtain the ones I didn't. Internet's been acting goofy so I didn't get in as much songs as I wanted - but the "A" artists or done! For the next week or so, I'm hoping to have my "I Love Viet Music" playlist restored as close as possible to what it was before.
